About Orange Medaka Ricefish
The Orange Medaka Ricefish is a peaceful community fish from Japan. Famous for their hardiness which makes them popular fish for summer tubs, and ponds. They also do well in aquariums with a temperature of 78 F and below. They are an egg layer which makes for a fun breeding project. Live Baby Brine Shrimp and Live Blackworms are their favorite foods, but will easily take to small flake foods and frozen food as well.
Shipping
Since they are live fish, we ship them with USPS Priority Mail or UPS 2nd Day Air which is charged at checkout. We want to make sure they arrive happy and healthy for you so we only ship on Mondays. In the case of a federal holiday falling on a Monday we will postpone shipping them until the next week.
The History of these Fish
We are a small hobbyist operation so we don't sell a lot of fish. All of the fish, shrimp, and eggs we breed ourselves. These fish offered for sale are our very first Orange Medaka Ricefish that we have raised and you can watch videos of their journey growing up on our Youtube channel. Their parents are high-quality Orange Medaka Ricefish. The fish that you will recieve will not look identical to the picture since they are still gaining color. If you purchuse these fish, know that lots of love and care have been put into these fish and we are excited for them to move to their forever home.
