About Orange Medaka Ricefish Eggs
Orange Medaka Ricefish is a peaceful species of aquarium fish from Japan. In Japan there are hundreds of types of Medaka Ricefish, although in the US there are only a few. You will receive eggs of this species, so you will need to hatch, and raise them to maturity. That will take about 2 months. There are different methods for hatching and raising them. We recommend aerating the water that they come in and keeping it around 75 degrees. At this stage you should keep the water isolated from other tanks. Once they hatch, replace the hatching water with fresh aquarium water and put them into a hang-on breeder box. Feed a powdered fry food for the first week or two. Once they get older feed Live Baby Brine Shrimp. The blue tint in the water you receive them in is normal as it inhibits fungus on the eggs.
Shipping
The eggs will be shipped 1-5 Business Days after the order is placed. The shipping cost will be charged at checkout, and the eggs will be shipped via USPS Priority Mail. They do not come with a DOA policy as there are different methods of hatching and raising them. However, we will try our best to resolve any issues.
