While they are renowned for being an amazing fish for Summer tubs, many people don’t realize that they are also perfect for aquariums! A small group of 6+ is perfect for a 20 gallon tank. They are egg-layers and they spawn in mops. They are not too hard to breed, and it is very fun!

                                                                                                             Sterbai Corydoras

Sterbai Corydoras are one of the most popular Corydoras out there. They lay eggs on the glass of the tank, and coexist peacefully with other aquarium species. While they are not easy to spawn, it can be done. It just takes a long time to grow them up to breeding size, sometimes 6 to 10 months.

                                                                                                               Forktail Blue-Eye

The Forktail Blue-Eye is a pseudomugil species and is rapidly growing in popularity. Originating from Papua New Guinea, this species is perfect for a more experienced hobbyist. They feature amazing colors and breed in spawning mops. A group of 6 to 12 will do well in a 20 gallon tank.
